Challenge
Replacing a multilingual proprietary CMS with custom features with Drupal in a 6 months timeframe.
HighLight
Migration are always very tricky. In this case, moving from a proprietary CMS with all content stored in an XML database required extensive knowledge of XML, XSL and Mysql.
Through a 2 step process (XML/XSL transformation, creation of an intermediate database) and the use of the mighty Migrate module, we managed to migrate 60,000 articles in 3 languages as a breeze.
